We also use Headway Themes to layout and configure the look and feel of the site.  In our opinion, it’s by far the most flexible system for making sure you have the look you want with out spending hours programming.  This also helps us keep our costs relatively low.  Now, if you want something totally off the wall unique then we can accommodate that through custom CSS code.  So basically, Headway Themes is the best of both worlds.

Now, one of the reasons we are undergoing a huge overhaul of our site is that the 2.0.2 version of Headway Themes allows us to do a lot of things that were not previously available in a theme (and, well, I didn’t feel like coding them all in manually).  NOW that functionally is there and much easier to create – so little by little we are taking advantage by rearranging the site, the look and feel, and trying out some of the fancy new features!

As we find some favorite things or super nifty ideas for how to change things up, we will share them here.  We will also share any other fun design info, trends, funky fun stuff, and basically anything else you want to hear about!  Maybe a few cute dog stories too.  We will have to feature our mascot here and there for sure!
